Will 2010 be the Year of the DREAM Act?


Despite Arizona and the flurry of opposition it has caused as well as the Administration’s recent support on behalf of comprehensive immigration reform, there’s very little evidence that points to across the aisle backing for a bill that has the potential to cause deep fissures in the electorate…especially during such a contested election year.

But if not a comprehensive immigration reform bill, what about the chances of the DREAM Act passing this year?

Although far from a guarantee, it looks as though in lieu of comprehensive reform, the DREAM Act may be picking up some steam with Congressmen and Senators alike.
